Welcome to our world (yes, because it’s yours too) — your comfort corner where you can slow down for a moment and simply breathe.
LS Journal was born from an idea that had been lingering in my mind for a while — and funnily enough, some of you recently suggested the very same thing: “Why don’t you start a blog where you talk more about your creations?”
And honestly… what could be a better idea? My candles are born from stories that get “engraved” into their design, so creating a journal felt like the perfect fit for LS.
But before diving into the heart of it all, I think a small introduction is needed — especially for those who may have landed here without knowing me yet.
My name is Lucrezia, and I’m the founder of this growing candle brand, officially born at the beginning of 2025.
What started as a simple hobby back in 2023 (I still can’t believe it’s been more than two years already!) quickly evolved into something much bigger.
Passion turned into vocation.
At the time, I used to make simple jar candles and molded shapes — some in beeswax, others in soy wax, experimenting with pigments... I loved creating them, but as time passed, I realized I wanted something more. I wanted to learn more, challenge myself, and dive into something new and, to be honest, more “tricky” to create.
Driven by that urge, I enrolled in a design candle academy I had been literally admiring on Instagram for months. Needless to say, it opened up an entirely new world, revealing as one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
Course after course, learning new techniques and experimenting with them one by one, my vocation slowly took shape and became my path. Those candles — the result of countless hours of work and trials (and even moments of frustration) — weren’t meant to stay hidden inside that room.
They were meant to be seen, felt, experienced.
I wanted them to tell little pieces of me — my way of expressing myself to the outside world.
As someone who believes deeply in the inner and more meaningful side of life, I knew from the beginning that my candles had to speak that language. (To the point where, once I opened the website, I dedicated an entire line to it — see Luminaire Essence)
That’s how LS Design Candles was born: the union of my initials — my identity — and my greatest passion. A brand in constant growth and evolution, which, just a year ago, was nothing more than an idea inside my head.
Today, it’s real — and the credit goes to you.
I wouldn’t be here without your support from the very beginning: a kind message on Instagram, an order on the website, or even the ideas you send me (the journal itself came from you!). None of it is taken for granted. Often, it’s even more than I ever imagined. So I can only say: THANK YOU.
I wanted to introduce the journal like this — by presenting myself to anyone who’s new here and giving you a piece of who LS truly is, behind the scenes.
With time, through my creations and this journal, I’ll share even more.
This is only the beginning, and with the new year approaching, I can already tell you that many things are coming: changes, new candles (new types of products on the shop… who knows?), new projects for the brand…
2026 will bring a lot of wonderful things.

Benvenuto nel nostro (sì, perché è anche tuo) mondo, il tuo angolo confortevole dove puoi prenderti un momento per rallentare e semplicemente rilassarti.
LS Journal nasce da un’idea che mi passava per la testa già da un po’, e caso vuole che qualcuno di voi, proprio di recente, mi abbia consigliato la stessa cosa: “ma perché non fai un blog dove racconti meglio le tue creazioni?”
E, effettivamente, quale idea migliore di questa?
Le mie candele nascono da storie che vengono poi “incise” nel loro design, quindi ho trovato l’idea del journal perfetta per LS.
Ma prima di entrare nel cuore della cosa, penso che una presentazione sia doverosa, soprattutto per chi arriva qui senza conoscermi ancora.
Mi chiamo Lucrezia e sono la fondatrice di questo brand di candele in continua crescita, nato ufficialmente a inizio 2025.
Quello che era iniziato come un semplice hobby nel 2023 (ancora non mi sembra vero che siano già passati più di due anni dall’inizio di tutto!) si è presto trasformato in qualcosa di molto più grande.
La passione è diventata vocazione.
Ai tempi realizzavo semplici candele in barattolo e in stampo, alcune in cera d’api, altre in cera di soia, sperimentando con i pigmenti. Mi piaceva molto crearle, ma col passare del tempo mi sono resa conto che volevo qualcosa in più: volevo imparare, mettermi alla prova, cimentarmi in qualcosa di nuovo e, soprattutto, più “tricky” da realizzare.
Spinta da questo desiderio, mi sono iscritta a un’accademia di candele di design che vedevo spesso su Instagram e da cui ero parecchio affascinata.
Scontato dirlo: mi ha letteralmente aperto un mondo nuovo, rivelandosi una delle decisioni migliori della mia vita.
Corso dopo corso, imparando tecniche nuove e sperimentandole una ad una, la mia vocazione ha iniziato a prendere forma, diventando la mia strada.
Quelle candele, frutto di tante ore di lavoro, tentativi ed esperimenti (e anche momenti di sconforto, non lo negherò), non potevano restare chiuse dentro quella stanza.
Dovevano essere viste, sentite, percepite.
Volevo che raccontassero piccole parti di me, il mio modo di esprimermi al mondo esterno.
Essendo una persona che crede molto nel lato interiore e più “profondo” della vita, ho voluto fin da subito che le mie candele parlassero di questo.

Così nasce LS Design Candles: l’unione delle mie iniziali — quindi della mia identità — con la mia passione più grande. Un brand in costante crescita ed evoluzione, che fino a un anno fa era solo un’idea nella mia testa.
Oggi tutto questo è reale, e il merito è anche, anzi, soprattutto, vostro.
Non sarei qui se non fosse per il supporto che mi avete dato fin dall’inizio: una parola carina su Instagram, un ordine sul sito, gli spunti che mi mandate (l’idea stessa del journal è arrivata anche da voi)… niente di tutto ciò è scontato. Anzi, è spesso più di quanto avrei immaginato. Quindi, GRAZIE.
Introduco il journal così, presentandomi a chi ancora non mi conosce e condividendo con voi un pezzo di ciò che LS, la persona dietro LS, è davvero.
Col tempo, attraverso le mie creazioni e questo journal, vi svelerò sempre di più.
Questo è solo l’inizio, e con l’avvicinarsi dell’anno nuovo, posso già anticiparvi che le novità saranno tante: cambiamenti, nuove candele (nuove tipologie di prodotto sullo shop… chissà?), nuovi progetti per il brand…
Insomma, il 2026 porterà con sé tante cose belle.
