  • What type of wax do you use in your candles?
    We use different types of wax depending on the design, purpose, and style of each candle. For instance, we use coconut wax for our classic container candles, soy wax for molded designs, and gel wax for creations like our Panna Cotta series. Some of our winter collection candles are crafted with crystal-effect palm wax, chosen for its unique aesthetic. Every wax we use is carefully selected for its specific properties and always belongs to the premium quality range, ensuring both performance and elegance.
  • Are your candles scented?
    Absolutely — all of our candles are scented, as we believe that fragrance and candle design should always go hand in hand. Scent is a fundamental part of our creative vision and contributes to the overall experience. That said, for our decorative candles, we also offer the option to have them unscented, in order to give a choice to those who either prefer a neutral piece or may have allergies or sensitivities to fragrance oils.
  • Do you also accept wholesale/bulk orders?
    At the moment, we do not accept wholesale orders or collaborations with resellers, as our candles are handcrafted using techniques that require very careful work and, in the case of some collections, even more intricate processes. For this reason, we have chosen to focus on a limited production, so we can consistently guarantee the highest level of attention and quality in every single piece. However, one of our future plans is to structure our production in a way that allows us to expand on a larger scale, in order to meet the needs of resellers and professional clients as well.   • Are all of your candles handcrafted?
    Yes, every single candle of the LS collection is handcrafted with great care and attention to detail. This artisanal process is at the heart of our brand and ensures that each piece is unique. For this reason, even candles of the same model may have subtle variations — an intentional and valuable aspect of handmade craftsmanship that reflects authenticity.
  • Can your candles be lit or are they meant to be just decorative?
    All of our candles are created to be both beautiful design pieces and fully functional candles, meant to be enjoyed lit — except for the Prestige Décor collection. This specific line is sold exclusively as home decor: due to the high concentration of colorants used to achieve their sophisticated appearance, lighting them could compromise their aesthetic irreversibly. Outside of the Prestige Décor collection, all our candles are designed to burn safely and beautifully.
  • Can I use your candles for special occasions or events?
    Absolutely! Thanks to their refined and eye-catching design, our candles are a perfect addition to any special occasion — whether it’s a wedding, a dinner party, or an intimate celebration. Their unique aesthetic makes them more than just candles — they become part of the atmosphere, giving a full sensory experience.
  • Will my candle look exactly like the photo?
    Each LS creation is entirely handcrafted, which means that no two pieces will ever be exactly the same. While we strive to maintain them as similar as possible to the ones shown in the product images, subtle variations in color or finish are part of the charm and authenticity of artisanal craftsmanship. These natural differences are a reflection of the care and uniqueness that go into every single candle we make.
  • What makes your candles different from others on the market?
    All of our candles are designed to stand out — not just for their quality, but for their truly unique aesthetic. From the very beginning, we set out to create pieces with a distinct visual identity — refined, eye-catching, and full of character — something that felt truly personal and different from the usual. Every candle is a reflection of our personal vision and passion for distinctive design. Our goal has always been to offer something more than just a candle — a piece that speaks for itself and tells a story of refined artistry.
  • What should I do if my candle doesn’t burn evenly?
    Uneven burning can happen, especially if the candle was exposed to a draft or wasn’t allowed to burn long enough during the first use, that's why you should always let the wax melt all the way to the edges during the first burn to avoid tunneling. However, if your candle has already burned unevenly, don’t worry — there are a few simple ways to fix it: Try the “foil trick”: wrap a piece of aluminum foil around the top edge of the candle (leaving the center open) and let it burn for about an hour. This helps the outer wax melt and even out the surface. Gently scrape the higher edges of unmelted wax and push the wax toward the wick to help it melt on the next burn. Always trim the wick to about 5 mm and keep the candle away from drafts to ensure a more even burn going forward. With a bit of care, you can bring your candle back to a beautiful, balanced burn!
  • How do you ensure the quality of your ingredients?
    We carefully source our materials only from certified suppliers who specialize in high-quality waxes, fragrances, and candle-making components. Every element that goes into our candles is chosen for its safety, performance, and aesthetic value. Quality is at the heart of everything we create.
  • Can I use your candles outdoors?
    Yes, you can — but it depends on the setting. If you’re using the candle in a sheltered outdoor area, like a covered terrace with no wind or air currents, it can work well. Just keep in mind that the scent throw may be less noticeable in open spaces. However, we do not recommend burning candles outdoors where there are drafts or strong breezes, as this can affect the flame’s stability and pose a safety risk. Always make sure the environment is calm and protected before lighting your candle outside.
  • Which countries do you ship to?
    At the moment, we ship to all countries within Europe, including the United Kingdom. Unfortunately, we do not offer worldwide shipping just yet — but it’s definitely in our plans for the future.
  • What are your shipping costs?
    We offer flat-rate shipping for all orders. Italy: €8.00, with free shipping on orders over €70 Europe: €16.00 United Kingdom: €18.50 * *Due to the new customs regulations introduced after Brexit, shipping costs to the UK have unfortunately increased — we’ve adjusted our rates accordingly while doing our best to keep them as fair and transparent as possible.
  • How long will it take to receive my order once it’s been shipped?
    Once your order has been dispatched, delivery times generally range from 2 to 3 business days within Italy, and approximately 3 to 4 business days to most European countries. For the United Kingdom, delivery may take up to 7 business days due to customs procedures introduced post-Brexit. These are the standard delivery times provided by our courier services, we do not account for any unforeseen delays that may occasionally occur on their end. We always recommend keeping an eye on your tracking link for real-time updates.
  • How long will it take to process my order?
    Orders are typically processed within 2 to 5 business days from the moment they’re received. Processing times may vary slightly depending on the products ordered and the overall volume of orders we’re handling at the time. We always do our best to ensure everything is completed as quickly and carefully as possible. Once your order is complete, you will automatically receive a confirmation email with all the relevant details.
  • Do you accept returns?
    Yes, we accept returns within 14 days from the date your order is delivered, provided the return request is submitted and approved in advance. Please note that unauthorized returns will not be accepted. To be eligible for a return, items must be in their original, unused condition, complete with original packaging. Any complimentary gifts included in your order must also be returned in the same condition. All return shipping costs and necessary packaging materials are the responsibility of the customer. To request a return, please contact us at info@lsdesigncandles.store. Once we’ve received your request and confirmed that your return meets the conditions, we’ll proceed with the refund using the same payment method you selected at checkout. You’ll receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed.
  • How long does a refund take?
    Once your refund has been processed on our end, it may take several days for the amount to appear in your account. This is due to standard processing times required by credit card networks. Depending on your card issuer and the payment provider, refunds typically take between 5 and 15 business days to be completed.
  • I entered the wrong shipping address. What should I do?
    If you’ve just placed your order and it hasn’t been shipped yet, don’t worry — we can update the address for you. Just reach out to us as soon as possible at info@lsdesigncandles.store with your order number and the correct details. Please note: once an order has been shipped, we are unfortunately unable to make any changes. We cannot be held responsible for packages sent to incorrect or undeliverable addresses provided at checkout.
